Hi all,

Hope you all are doing alright and enjoying summer (us Floridians are not, it is way too hot to enjoy). You may have already noticed from Discord or the offsite, but there's some changes underway. I just wanted to take a minute to explain these changes in case you haven't heard the news yet.

(1) RuneScape Thread
First, we're back on the RuneScape Forums! The quick find code (QFC) is 290-291-522-66019673 or check out the link here.

Now, before you skeptics start with the "Omg why are we on the Forums again? Nobody's on the Forums to recruit from and the Forums suck!" Trust me, I know, and these concerns were on my list of cons when determining whether to make this move.

The ultimate reason I decided for bringing back the thread though was because I wanted a one page summary of how the clan works, in a public area that's easy to access by everyone - both current and potential clan members. It's hard to do that on an offsite or Discord. And with as many changes as the clan has had, plus the fact that we actually have a structure - a summary is needed.

Now to keep the thread alive, we need to have some recurring activity on there, so I decided to also close down our Google Doc - both database and the mission report. Moving forward, everything will be maintained on the RS Forums like it used to be. Again, this also helps to keep everything in one central location.

So, now you may be asking, well what does this mean for the offsite? Keep on readin'.

(2) Offsite Changes
The offsite moving forward is not going to be used for any operational items - points, events, etc. won't be maintained here. Instead, this offsite will focus more on the historical side of things - screenshots, videos, stories, etc. anything to do with clan history. If you're interested in helping develop this, please let me know.

ACTION STEPS:
So now that we're trying to get things moving, I need y'all to do your part. Here's what you can do right now to help:

1. Go on the thread and post on it to bookmark it to your profile.
2. Read the thread to make sure you understand how the clan works.
3. Update your Forum Signature, see post 20 on the thread for how to do this.
4. Leaders, post any future mission reports to this thread.
5. Bump the thread occasionally.
6. Keep this offsite relevant by posting clan pictures and videos.

Well THIS is embarrassing…



I bet ya’ll are wondering exactly why you aren’t being forced to conform to the unreasonable terms of a complete lunatic who would run his clan like a banana republic. Turns out Jagex isn’t as easily convinced by a “poorly-photoshopped piece of garbage” as you scrubs were and won’t grant me leadership of the clan without a notarized copy signed by three witnesses and submitted by a representative of Shiki’s estate. What a bunch of killjoys. Oh, and they also require, in order for a change of power to take place, for the actual clan leader to be dead.

Yeah. Another wrench in my plan: Shiki’s not actually dead. Mixing those hallucinogens into the cake is hard work and I got hungry and, long story short, I never actually left my kitchen that night. I have since learned that what I thought was Kibbles devouring Shiki was actually my pet squirrel laying waste to a basket of strawberries. So, my bad on that false account too. I sort of just assumed that, if I told you Shiki was dead, no one would actually bother digging into my obvious lie even the tiniest bit (like that time I impersonated the Provincial Party Hat Inspector and scammed Flem out of 10b) and that you would all blindly follow me to your doom (like that time I convinced Night Fury I that the dangerous hole in the avatar habitat at the citadel was actually a water slide). Turned out I gravely underestimated you guys this time (except for Night, rest in peace), with Shiki himself leading the investigation into Shiki’s death (kind of unnecessary, if you ask me, but, Bureaucrats, amirite?).

Anyways… I would just ask that bygones be bygones but it turns out all this is SUPER illegal (attempted murder, sedition, identity theft, kidnapping, assault, terrorism, making threats, forgery, war crimes, etc.), and the police are making a REALLY big deal over it, calling me “the next Charles Manson” and saying hurtful things like “Oh dear God!” “You monster!” “Not the children!” and such, so I’m gonna be busy with all that nonsense for a while. They have this idea that I’m some kind of psychopath (the taunting letters to the FBI written on parchment made from human skin probably didn’t do anything to dissuade them from that conclusion)! My lawyer thinks I should just plead insanity, but, personally, I think that’s a bit too easy and I like a challenge. Probably gonna end up going with the famous “catch me if you can! *throws a smoke bomb*” defense. My trial comes up later this summer. Wish me luck!

Anyways, I have a lot of work ahead, so I will leave you with these parting words. To my legions of devoted followers (and those too terrified to stand against me), I leave this message: Do not worry for me, friends. Dr. Bad will return. I will return stronger than ever! My enemies are mere mortals, with the constraints of mortals; they can’t keep me away forever… Its only 193 consecutive life sentences…

Actually, that is kind of forever…

You know what, change of plans.



If you guys need me, I’ll be systematically setting fire to police databases for the next few months. That should make those pesky felony charges go away! If not, it will certainly HEAT things up (ah, a pun about murder! Classic Dr Bad). In the mean-time, go on with your lives and try to stay busy on Runescape participating in fun and exciting activities like fighting bosses, questing, skilling, chatting, and trying to defuse the bomb I’ve hidden somewhere in the clan citadel set to detonate within the next three days (Hint: it could actually be in Rogue’s Den, Rogue’s Castle, or any of your Player Owned Houses [or Ports] instead). I’ll be in touch.

P.S. Jagex might not accept shoddily-made photoshops as legally-valid but the gnomes had no problem whatsoever accepting Shiki as the signer of the gnome loan I took out earlier this week.

Spring is here at last!



Ah, Spring. It is that time of year when the thaw begins and the world begins to escape the icy grip of winter. It is a time when those who escaped the deadly grasp of winter crawl out from their hiding places and rejoice, for it is time for life to begin anew. It is the beginning of another chapter in the great cycle of life. It is a time of transition - a wondrous time of year, full of limitless potential for everyone…

Well, except for Shikimoko, because he’s dead…



Yeah… about that… There was an “accident” at Rogue’s Castle. Shiki and I were feeding Kibbles his weekly required cake when Shiki slipped on a conveniently-placed, barely-visible tripwire and fell in. Kibbles normally would have recognized his master and saved him, but I must have accidentally added hallucinogens to my cakes while making them instead of the usual sugar (an honest mistake, really, as I keep them next to each other in my pantry). It was a horrific sight and, I assure you, I wept uncontrollably and not at all laughed maniacally as Shiki was devoured alive by the raging Kibbles. Tragically, the only thing Shiki had time to do was sign this Last Will and Testament leaving the clan to me.



So… Yeah… About that “time of transition and time for change” from earlier… Thing are going to change.

Starting this Easter Sunday, Rogue Ninja Civilization is no more. We have no need in this world for ninjas, just as Kim Jong Un has no need for a butthole. Thus, I am instituting a change that will transform the RNC into the RDC – The Rogue Doctor Civilization! It will be a glorious new clan that will sweep across Gielinor like Blue’s Mom at an all-you-can-eat Buffet! Of course, as is standard in all coups reorganizations, there will be some minor changes.

• The new clan uniform will be changed from a Rogue Outfit to a Doctor Hat and Lab Coat.
• New leadership requirements will be changed from level 75 Thieving and 75 Agility to 75 Constitution and 75 Herblore.
• All clan members will be required to learn the triage system and carry a cadeuceus at all times.
• All clan members will be required to “donate” to a group malpractice fund that will definately not be used to pay off Dr. Bad’s gambling debts.
• Taco Tuesdays

If you have any objections, feel free to say so in the CC or on the new poll to your right. All dissenters will be treated with upmost respect and ushered into a new soundproof reeducation booth to… er… give the clan helpful new suggestions as to how it can be better run or something (whatever it takes to get you into the booth).

Anyways. I sincerely hope that the transition is peaceful and non-violent, but, if it isn’t, I do request that you try to keep the lungs, liver, heart, and kidney intact during the infighting. They're worth the most on the human organ market.

Hope you all are excited about this time of the year, it's personally one of my favorites. Hope you guys are getting to spend time with family and friends.

I wanted to post this year's Christmas art project before I take off to go to a wedding this weekend. This year's theme is the Knightcracker! (RS version of Nutcracker)



Feel free to design your Knightcracker however you want and then upload it in the Media > 01b. Christmas 2017 Art Project folder.

You have until Sunday, December 24th to complete your art project.

I'm planning to release the Thanksgiving art project this year with the Christmas one (sorry it got delayed; holidays were crazy).

Also, Kibbles will be doing his Knightcracker shortly (he's officiating the wedding ceremony, so he's a bit busy).

Have fun with these! Don't forget that the Christmas Party is next Saturday on December 23rd. Whatever we have raised by then will be dropped - so definitely be there! Wear something red/green/white!

EDIT: Decided to add on the Thanksgiving art project to this post. This is the first time we'll be doing an art project for this holiday, so let's set an awesome precedent!

For Thanksgiving, we'll be designing feathers. In addition to just doing regular coloring, I'd like you to write a word on the feather of something you're thankful for. You can make as many of these as you like, and it's no issue if the thing that you're thankful for has already been named by someone else - add it again!

I decided to not do one for Kibbles for this project as it's a little more serious in my mind, especially given today's events. There's a lot of problems in this world guys and it's really easy to lose hope or sight of what we have with so much wrong. But as I was told today by a close friend, we can't lose faith, we just have to work that much harder to prove this world wrong. For me personally, this year has been one of my hardest and trying years, across so many different aspects of my life. I'm sure there are plenty of you who can relate. But in spite of all of that, taking the time to look around and say "I'm blessed to have this" can do so much for your perspective and happiness.

Feel free to add what you like, but would really love some thought in this one.

To kick off the holidays, this year we'll be doing another Halloween Art Project - this year's theme: Spiders. Be sure to have fun designing the template below.



Participating in the art project is really simple - just save the above template and open up a picture editor like Paint, GIMP, or Photoshop and then design away. Then, re-upload your designed version of the image on the offsite in Media > Images > Halloween 2017 Art Project.

Hi all,

I wish I wasn't writing this post. This is the post no person ever wants to write, and I know I'm only feeling 1/1,000th of what his family must have felt as they wrote theirs, which makes my heart hurt even more.

Benzany (Matt), formerly Ice Goblin66, passed away on Sunday, 8/27. My deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends. I know the latter includes many of you, myself included.

Ever since I met Matt, I knew he was special. From the beginning, he was always involved and participating and quickly became friends with many people in the RNC. How quickly he rose through the ranks honestly did not surprise me (and it had nothing to do with the fact that he had an untrimmed magic cape too *cough*). I think anyone who has ever had any interaction with Matt can tell that he's deeply passionate about what he commits his time to, in addition to being one of the most intelligent and witty people you'd ever meet. He gave Flem a run for her money plenty of times in that department.

Matt was also one of the strongest people I know. The person who would literally try to bear other people's burdens, in addition to that of his own. He never let people worry about him. He always wanted to be the person who made people smile. And he had the amazing ability to be incredibly perspective about people, online obstacles aside, and empathize with people and their situations, regardless of whatever he had going on.

Some of my last words to Matt were, "You're amazing, don't forget it." I would have said it to you every day to get you to believe it, Matt. And I'll say it again for all to see, you're amazing Matt, don't forget it.

Rest in peace, bud.
